about
This album is a result of several jam sessions with my soulmate, Lena, in preparation to our first (and only) live performance way back in 2012. We just improvised with guitar, synth and sampler on an iPad and a computer looper, and we recorded every session. We had a couple of cool ideas that way that I further explored, re-recorded some parts, used some of the original recordings and programmed the drums. As a result, here you have Youri Mangé Au Mercure, the first original Under The Elephant's Skin piece of music in more than five years. Please, enjoy.
